Diary written during a voyage of the ship Cape Packet, from Cowes to Hobart. A detailed account of the voyage as far as Rio. He describes life on board; weather; position; ships and land passed; a disturbance on board . Includes several sketches of parts of the ship, land passed, fish and turtles. This copy of the diary is incomplete. It is not known if the original diary continues to the vessel's arrival in Hobart.
